Little fibs - make life easier?
I told a fib, to me it was a little fib and calling it a fib is easier then using the word lie. I said to my wife that I had spoken to the pastor and he was at church so she would not make a fuss about me getting the bus straight to church, I knew he would be there by 7 when she was going to arrive so I thought it was no big deal and it would stop her from fussing and about me waiting outside the church for an hour if he wasnt there.
A lie to make my life a little easier that no one who know or care about?! Right?? Wrong! There is no such thing as a big or a little lie and fib is only used to soften the fact that it was an outright lie and I sit here feeling grumpy, drained and say for being so stupid. Im my own worst punisher but Michelle is getting some things done for her because of my stupidity.
