Issues with AntiVir - Beta V7
Im pretty convinced that AntiVir V7 did something to my LAN connection in WinXP, (I have 2 computers running AntiVir V7 both had this problem) I was using the computer without any issues first thing in the morning then after AntiVir updated I lost my internet connection and not the fact that I could not get online, The Network Connections LAN icon was gone!
I managed to recover one machine using XP CD to do a reinstall of XP and not loose any data at work but I did loose data on my home computer, home DVD movies I was editing to put on CD to send to my parents in England. Im really ticked and will not use AntiVir anymore!
I did find that on both computers one of the svchost.exe processess was running at 98%! (Seemed to be the svchost.exe that is responsible for Security Centre, (monitors antivirus, firewall and windows updates) Go figure?!!?
