I used to use Livejournal for my Blog but its a little inflexible for me unfortunately, the fact that blogger.com puts the html file in your own ftp space is alot nicer, if you want to see the sad individual that I used to be and the pathetic life I lead before the year 2005 compared to the wonderfully glorious life I live now go here

I also have so many other web presences it hurts, I will try and list some of them here….

… Of course there is Eternal Summertime, at the time of typing this hosted on Telus webspace.

Then there is my 3 Islandnet webspaces. rt@Islandnet, rt@islandhosting and rt@highspeedplus, I work at Islandnet and get unlinited webspace because of this fact.

They are in different stages of use so if you get a 404 dont be surprised. I actually want to move my entire main site to IslandHosting and but a domain name so thats a 2005 to-do.

I have my old mcmail space which is now run by Bluebolt in the UK, I still keep it active just as a dump space. I called it Pantaloons way back when.

A little execise to see where I have been online is to click these searches (and try some of your own), actually quite a fun thing to do with email in your address books, you can learn allot about people you thought you knew, I use AllTheWeb to do my searches:

ATW Search for “rob_turner@hotmail.com”

ATW Search for “rob_j_turner@msn.com”

ATW Search for “robt_bstoke”

ATW Search for “Eternal Summertime”

The last one finds some stuff that isnt mine but it also finds my little Webshots area with some photo’s I published, it finds my old freeuk webpages that are still there even thought I dont have an account with them and have tried so many times to get them removed, it finds my pantaloons mcmail webspace as the Eternal Summertime page used to be hosted there, its amazing what you can find out about one person by digging around online.

I used to be quite liberal online with my email address and now they are out there on the web I am quite a SPAM target on the old accounts,

One thing I have found is that by keeping my email accounts that go back 10 years open I use them as POP accounts in my yahoo email to train it to block spam comming into my yahoo emails.

See what else you can dig up on me and comment on this blog telling me what you found and provide a link :-)
